Help Transform WorkSource’s Digital Experience
The WDC is seeking a website design consultant to create a new website and intranet to replace or improve the existing WorkSourceSKC.org and Learning Exchange. The consultant will work closely with the WDC’s communications team and key subject matter experts (SMEs) within the WorkSource Seattle-King County (WS-SKC) system to assess the needs and requirements, advise on platforms and integrations, and design and build the website(s).
Help Coordinate & Streamline the WorkSource System
We're excited to share a new funding opportunity. On March 24, 2023, the WDC released a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to find a One-Stop Operator for the local WorkSource system. This team will help improve job services and work with partners in the WorkSource system to streamline service delivery across agencies. The goal is to make the workforce development and WorkSource system better by connecting resources to meet the needs of job seekers and businesses.
Digital Navigator Grant
This funding seeks to address funding inequities by building the infrastructure to support 7-10 community based organizations to provide regionally coordinated digital navigator services for residents in the Seattle-King County region. This shared regional approach will result in increased scale and investment impact, and amplified access to affordable internet, devices, digital skills training, and digital navigator services. In addition, this funding seeks to address funding inequities based in institutional and systemic racism that create barriers for non-profit organizations that are nimble and responsive to the cultural and socio-economic needs of their communities.
Information Technology Support Services
This request seeks to identify information technology support providers capable of delivering services for the WDC office, remote work, and staff. This service will cover a complete IT support spectrum including, but not limited to, server and network management, hardware and software support, in-office and remote user support, web presence support, and assistance in equipment and software acquisition.
Racial Equity Consultation: Facilitation, Training & Organizational Development
This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is for facilitation, training, coaching, and organizational development services to support the WDC’s ongoing organizational development and support needed to operationalize racial equity. Consultants will provide direct support to the WDC’s newly formed Racial Equity Committee and WDC staff to develop shared analyses and a roadmap toward building organizational capacity to effectively advance racial equity and economic justice in the organization’s work.
