The WDC, directed by business leaders and working with state and local partners, leads and oversees our local WorkSource system. WorkSource Seattle-King County brings together many programs and agencies under one roof, resulting in a dynamic “one-stop” resource focused on customer service, quality, and seamless access to services for businesses and job seekers.Depending on their individual needs, customers—including laid-off workers and anyone interested in improving their skills or employment situation—can access a menu of services to support their career planning. Businesses can access a number of resources and services to help their company grow and thrive.
The WorkSource brand represents an impressive investment at all levels. In a one-year period ending June 2008, WorkSource Seattle-King County served over 21,000 customers—over 111,000 visits—while maintaining a 91% customer satisfaction score.
