Technology and technology-related jobs are evolving rapidly, making the idea of information technology as a stand-alone sector somewhat of an anachronism. Information technology skills are increasingly critical for a broad spectrum of occupations and sectors, as the WDC's workforce efforts in this area reflect.

  • The WDC's strategies for this sector include a partnership with Microsoft to bring free computer-skills training classes to our local WorkSource centers.
